Juanito is about to fulfill his dream of having a pair of red boots that will turn him into a real flamenco dancer. His uncle Coco, a legendary tablaos singer from Barcelona, will help him achieve this. Flamenco is passed down from generation to generation in the gypsy community that gave birth to Carmen Amaya, the greatest flamenco dancer of all time. His niece’s daughter, Karime Amaya, travels to Barcelona to follow in his footsteps. The journey is completed when Mercedes Amaya «Winny», her mother, decides to accompany her from Mexico to prepare a show with some of the greatest talents in the city. Together they will discover the spirit of Bajarí, Barcelona en caló, the language of the gypsies.
