For seven years, Mexican documentary filmmaker Maritza García delved into the hermetic Pakistani community in Barcelona to learn about the lives of three immigrants from the Punjab: Wajid, Hussein and Mohammed, documenting their complex and surprising path to freedom, where poetry is the cathartic medium par excellence.
