Oriol Perucho in memoriam

Oriol Perucho one of the key concepts of the avant-garde musical they began at home at 70. But the contribution of Perucho not limited to its role as a pioneer of these vanguards, but until his death was committed to innovation and experimentation.

Since 1970 he created the legendary band’s Perucho, along with Baf were the introducers of Free jazz at home, did not stop to play drums, compose and improvise, and always reject the easy paths buscant- new ones to explore. It passed through several bands, some cult for the coolest music scene as Tropopause, Koniec, Moisés, Moisés, La Bel Canto Orchestra d’en Pascal Comelade, Les Anciens, Cebos Enrique, Mil Pesetas, etc.

He also recorded three solo albums: “Insultó, le multaron y dejó de comer” (1992) “Zaping CD” (1994) y “Así pasan 45 minutos” (1998) in which he collaborated with a number musicians and friends reflected on his more personal universe.

In this documentary Martí Sans reviews Oriol Perucho’s life and artistic career through original pieces of concerts and rehearsals and interviews with musicians who played with him: Martí Soler, Oriol Pons de Vall “Ginger”, Jaume Martin, Enric Cervera, Ramon Solé, Eduard Altaba, Xavier Maristany, Pepino Pascual, Gat, Roger Fortea, Roger Aixut y Laia Torrents y el blogger Jack Torrance.
