Hello everyone!
This Tuesday, September 2, we start the 3rd season of Documentary Visions.
Last February, the Barcelona-Catalunya Film Commission made public, through the report «Barcelona, a city that promotes filming and audiovisual», that the production of documentaries in Barcelona has increased by 220%. The documentary not only enjoys very good health but continues to be a genre on the rise and Documentary Visions wants to grow with it. That’s why we start this season with a change of headquarters. We are moving to the Girona cinemas, from where we will be able to offer you a better quality of projection and sound, and more capacity.
And we do it with a documentary about the fight to recover the wetlands of the Empordà, Entre el Cel i la Terra – La guerra dels aguamolls, directed by Tono Folguera, David Fernández de Castro (of which we were able to see the 1st season: » El Papus», Anatomy of an Attempt) and Román Parrado. Entre el Cel i la Terra tells us the struggle of a group of young people facing the most voracious urban and touristic interests, to create a natural park. A documentary about ecology that follows as a political thriller.
