A tour of the work of the Catalan sculptor Jaume Plensa, internationally recognized for his commitment to art in public spaces and one of the greatest exponents of the current sculpture scene.
The documentary traces Jaume Plensa’s most significant past and present work, beginning the journey with a spectacular public work that marked a milestone in his career: the Crown Fountain, made by Chicago’s Millenium Park , the most emblematic piece to date and a magnificent reflection of his vision of art and ending with the preparation and inauguration of two of his most important projects: «Dream» a 20 meter high marble piece that designed for a public space on the outskirts of an English village; and «In the midst of dreams», an exhibition made up of three large sculptures of polyester and three of alabaster, by Lelong Galerie in New York.
An essential tour through the work of an artist whom one of the interviewees says “is not afraid of beauty”.
